The contact form is the only place on this site where we collect data. Unless you fill it in, nothing that identifies you reaches us.

03Why we process it

Sending the form does not by itself allow us to send you marketing e-mail — newsletters, campaigns or product announcements. If we ever want to do that, we will ask for your separate and explicit consent, as Turkish Law No. 6563 requires.

• To route wholesale, manufacturing-partnership and private-label enquiries to the right part of our business
• To send the automatic acknowledgement e-mail confirming that your message arrived
• To protect the site and the form against spam, abuse and automated attacks

04Legal grounds

Your name, e-mail, company and message are processed under Article 5/2-(c) of the Law, as directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract with you. Security records are processed under Article 5/2-(f), as necessary for our legitimate interests provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. The data is collected by automated means through the form.

05Sharing and international transfer

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. It passes only through the service providers we use to run the site and deliver e-mail. Because their servers are located outside Türkiye, these transfers fall under Article 9 of the Law.

Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where they make a lawful request, limited strictly to the scope of that request.

06How long we keep it

Correspondence from the form is kept for at most two years after your enquiry is resolved. If the conversation turns into a commercial relationship, the related records are kept for the periods required by Turkish commercial and tax legislation — as a rule, ten years. Security records are deleted far sooner, under the policy of the infrastructure provider.

At the end of the retention period, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

07Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law, you may ask us to:

• Confirm whether your personal data is processed, and obtain information about it
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data has been transferred
• Have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected
• Have the data erased or destroyed, within the conditions set by the Law
• Have any correction or erasure notified to the third parties the data was transferred to
• Object to a result reached against you solely through automated analysis of your data
• Claim compensation if you suffer loss because the data was processed unlawfully

08How to reach us

Send your request by e-mail to info@abaga.com, or in writing to the company address above. It must contain the details required by the Turkish Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. We answer free of charge as soon as possible, and in any event within thirty days; where the request entails a separate cost, the fee set by the Data Protection Board may apply.

09Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no advertising, analytics or visitor-tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and nothing comparable installed.

Every file the page needs, typefaces included, is served from our own domain — opening the site sends no request to any third-party address.

Strictly necessary cookies

Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, may set short-lived security cookies such as __cf_bm to protect the site from automated attacks. They are not used to recognise or track you and, being necessary for the service to work, do not require consent.

Theme preference

When you choose the light or dark theme, that choice is not stored in a cookie but in your own browser's storage (localStorage, abaga-tema) and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookie notice

Dismissing the notice at the bottom of the page is likewise recorded only in your own browser (abaga-cerez).

If we ever add a visitor-measurement tool, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any such cookie is placed.

10Security

The site and the contact form run over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) end to end. Only the colleagues who will answer your enquiry have access to form submissions. That said, no transmission over the internet is ever completely secure — please do not send identification numbers, card details or similar sensitive information through the form.

11Changes

We update this notice when we need to. The current version is always published at this address, and the date above shows when it last changed.
